Aiming at a natural approach of the human body, the release technique focuses on releasing but also saving energy by using breathing to facilitate movement. This technique has not specific steps to follow, instead the dancer’s body is let free to be carried away by its own weight. The dancer is encouraged to feel their body first and then move on with a movement. At anima we want to teach you how to get acquainted with your body and manage your energy more efficiently, while dancing.
