Kids yoga is a fun physical activity that takes place in a supportive and non competitive environment, so that the kids can develop their capabilities. The classes have a theme and include games, exercises, traditional yoga poses, breathing techniques and relaxation.
The kids are active participants in the class, spontaneity and class structure alternate so that they can learn from one another and express themselves creatively.
This atmosphere encourages children to cultivate their inner strength and to accept themselves. They develop strength, movement coordination, flexibility, balance, body awareness, better concentration and self confidence. They learn to respect their body, others and their environment.
